Known as ‘The Green Yacht from Derry’, she was commissioned by the McCorkell Shipping Line expressly for the Trans-Atlantic passenger trade. Built in St. John, New Brunswick in 1860, she served the company for 35 years crossing the Atlantic 55 times.
